Please read these terms carefully. By creating an account or using Futza, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Who We Are

Futza is a football quiz app run by IQ Entertainment Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number [COMPANY NUMBER]) with its registered office at [REGISTERED OFFICE ADDRESS]. You can contact us at admin@iqentertainmentltd.com.

These terms apply to the Futza app on iOS and Android and to our website (together, the "Service"). Our Privacy Policy explains how we use your personal data and forms part of your agreement with us.

2. Who Can Use Futza

Futza is for football fans of all ages. If you are under 18, please read these terms with a parent or guardian, who should be happy for you to use the app. If you are under 13, a parent or guardian should set up and manage your account with you (see our Privacy Policy).

3. Your Account

  • You can sign up with an email address, a phone number, or an Apple, Google or Facebook account.

  • Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.

  • Keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity on your account, so tell us straight away if you think someone else is using it.

  • You may only have one account.

  • You can delete your account at any time from the Settings menu in the app.

4. Your Licence To Use Futza

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, in line with these terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from.

5. Rules Of Use

You agree not to:

  • cheat or gain an unfair advantage, including by using bots, scripts, automation, or exploiting bugs, and not to help others do so;

  • copy, scrape, extract, or republish our questions, answers or data (whether by hand or automatically), or use them commercially;

  • copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to get at the source code of the app, except where the law allows;

  • interfere with or disrupt the Service, our servers or other players' experience, or try to gain unauthorised access to any part of it;

  • use an offensive, hateful, misleading or unlawful display name, or one that impersonates someone else or includes personal information;

  • harass, abuse or threaten other players, or use Futza for anything unlawful; or

  • resell, rent or sublicense the app or your account.

6. Leaderboards And Display Names

Leaderboards show your display name and score to other players. We may remove or change display names that break these rules, and we may remove scores, reset leaderboards or adjust rankings where we reasonably believe there has been cheating, a bug or an error.

7. Our Content And Intellectual Property

Futza, its name and logo, the app, its design, the questions and answers, the games and all related data are owned by or licensed to IQ Entertainment Ltd and protected by copyright, database rights, trade marks and other laws. You get no ownership of any of it by using the Service. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

If you send us feedback or ideas, you agree we may use them freely without paying you.

7A. Unofficial app

Futza is an independent, unofficial football quiz. It is not affiliated with, authorised, endorsed or sponsored by The Football Association Premier League Limited, any football club, player, league or governing body. Names of clubs, players and competitions are used only to identify them for the purposes of the quiz. All trade marks and names remain the property of their respective owners.

8. Quiz Content And Accuracy

Futza is for entertainment. We work hard to make our questions accurate and up to date, but football facts change and mistakes can happen, so we do not guarantee that content is complete, accurate or current. If you spot an error, please let us know at admin@iqentertainmentltd.com.

Futza does not offer prizes, betting or gambling, and nothing in it is betting advice.

9. Changes To The Service

We may update, change, suspend or stop any part of Futza (including features, game modes and content) at any time, for example to fix bugs, improve the app or for business reasons. We will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes. We do not promise the Service will always be available or free of errors, and it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. You may need to update the app to keep using it.

10. Advertising And Paid Features

Futza is currently free to use. In future we may introduce advertising, optional paid features or subscriptions. If we do, we will update these terms and, where the law requires, tell you first. Any purchase you make will also be subject to the terms of the app store you buy through, which handles payment and refunds.

11. Ending Your Use

You can stop using Futza and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access, or delete your account, if you break these terms, if we reasonably suspect cheating, abuse or illegal activity, or if we stop providing the Service. Where reasonable, we will tell you why. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as those on intellectual property and liability) will continue after your access ends.

12. Our Responsibility To You

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited or excluded. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows:

  • the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", and we do not promise it will meet your particular requirements;

  • we are not responsible for losses that were not a foreseeable result of our breach, or for business, profit or data losses (Futza is for personal use only); and

  • if we are found liable to you, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to £100 or the total you have paid us in the previous 12 months, whichever is higher.

We are not responsible for failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including problems with your device, your network connection, or third-party services such as app stores, login providers and hosting.

13. Changes To These Terms

We may update these terms, for example to reflect changes to Futza or the law. We will change the "Last updated" date and, if the changes are significant, tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using Futza after the changes take effect, you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.

14. Complaints And Contact

If you have a question or complaint, email admin@iqentertainmentltd.com and we will do our best to resolve it quickly.

15. General

  • Governing law and courts. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of the part of the UK where you live.

  • Entire agreement. These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Futza.

  • If part is unenforceable. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

  • No waiver. If we do not enforce a right straight away, that does not mean we give it up.

  • Transfers. You may not transfer your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours to another business that takes over Futza.

  • Third parties. Apart from Apple and Google as described below, no one else has rights to enforce these terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

16. Additional Terms For Apple App Store Users

If you downloaded Futza from the Apple App Store, the following also apply:

  • These terms are between you and IQ Entertainment Ltd only, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content.

  • Our licence to you is limited to use on Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions.

  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may tell Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. As between you and us, any other claim, loss or liability arising from failure to meet a warranty is our responsibility.

  • We, not Apple, are responsible for dealing with any claims by you or a third party about the app or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection claims.

  • If a third party claims the app infringes its intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending and settling the claim.

  • You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo or designated a "terrorist supporting" country, and are not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

  • You must comply with applicable third-party terms (for example, your wireless data service agreement) when using the app.

  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, once you accept them, have the right to enforce them against you.

  • Our contact details for questions, complaints or claims are in section 1.

17. Additional terms for Google Play users

If you downloaded Futza from Google Play, these terms are between you and IQ Entertainment Ltd, not Google. Google is not responsible for the app, its content, support or any claims relating to it, and Google Play's own terms also apply to your download and any purchases.
